Description

Partially made this for myself, partially made it for my good friend Tactical-Muffin, who shares my views on 40K's rabid fanbase.

Read The Stamp by PsychoMonkeyShogun

Before you read further, notice the big fat IN MY OPINION on the stamp. In no way am I claiming all Warhammer fans are this way, I am merely speaking from personal experience.

It seems the vast, vast majority of people on the internet think bronies, weeaboos, furries, Sonic fans, wolf fans, etc. are the worst kinds of fans on the internet and deserve to be mocked, ridiculed, put down and spat on at every opportunity. But what these people fail to realize is one simple fact: they are not hurting anybody with their actions, so those who care a little too much about what complete strangers do in the privacy of their own rooms are the ones in the wrong, from a standpoint of justice alone.

Because of this simple fact, for the longest time I refused to believe there was a such thing as a bad fanbase anywhere...well, that was before I saw some of the insane shit that rabid Warhammer fans, in particular rabid fans of the Imperium, do. Whereas a worst thing a brony or a Sonic fan would ever do is clop or draw bad fanart (neither of which are particularly threatening, mind you,) it seems rabid 40K fanboys do make it a point to hurt other people, namely, members of other fandoms that they consider to be "heresy." Dear god, that. fucking. word. I've seen rabid 40K fans go to other peoples' art (mostly seen in art that crosses ponies over with 40K) and spout overused phrases like "purge this heresy with fire!" "suffer not the ponyfag to live!" "cleanse the ponyfag cancer" etc. etc. etc, and I have even seen death threats done before. Just for crossing over two series that the artist likes. And of course, I've seen some pretty vile hate art drawn by rabid Warhammer fans, mostly involving ponies getting graphically ripped in half, cut up or stomped to death by Space Marines...or what about the goddamn Angry Marines torturing gentle, sweet little Fluttershy to death, while she cries the whole time? Seriously, that is fucked up.

I honestly have no clue why anti-fandom trolls don't pick more on rabid 40K fans, because they are clearly rabid, and they clearly get butthurt and start raging anytime someone crosses furries, ponies, anime characters, etc. over with their beloved Imperium, and even (God forbid) pick on other Warhammer fans who prefer playing as xenos such as Tau or Eldar. I have honestly never seen a single Tau or Eldar player foaming at the mouth, ranting and raving about how certain other fandoms are "heresy" or "cancer" that deserve to be purged with fire. Nope, not gonna happen. I guess the only reason trolls don't pick on rabid Warhammer fans is because they somehow "excuse" the incredibly violent ways in which they get butthurt, because they somehow "agree" with the sentiment of the rabid fans. Because after all, it is sooooooooooo much more popular and "hip" to hate furries, bronies and Sonic fans, isn't it? Le derp...

This description is probably tl;dr, but it had to be said. And no, I don't hate Warhammer, I actually am a big fan of the series, I even like the Imperium (but also in addition to Eldar,) but I am incredibly ashamed, shocked and embarrassed by what the rabid Imperial fans do, and why it seems nobody calls them out on their bad behavior.

Steven Universe: have multiple fascists advocating for genocide, harrassed fan-artists, nearly driving them to suicide.

Homestuck: disruptive behavior on cons, at least one documented case of attempted murder of one artist for drawing the wrong pairing.

MLP: intrusive takeover of various online communities. Mass harrassment of critics of the show. Used for proliferation of "new masculinity" nonsense. Also, Lilly Orchard is still a member.

Furries: advocates for zoophilia, zoosadists and other degenerates hiding in plain site in the community. Impossible to call it out without the entire community taking offense amd going ballistic on you, rather than taking out their own trash. Also, Rainfurrest.

Undertale: persistent pressuring of youtubers to play the game, followed by harassment and hate-campaigns against youtubers who didn't play the game "the right way".

I can go on.

In my general experience, the more wholesome and innocent a franchise appears on the surface, the more toxic and outright degenerate the fanbase is. Your own examples of the worst behavior on the part of warhammer fans, that "actually hurt people", involves people making jokes. Warhammer fans do that sort of stuff for a reason though: to keep the psychopaths who have taken over the fandoms listed above out of their hobby.
