Bane the tacticool pony - WIP

This is a WIP (work-in-progress) I started several days ago and still need to finish. It's my OC "Bane," a female earth pony and the protagonist from Ponywar, an idea I have for a shooter game that pits armed ponies against enemy human soldiers, who want to take over Equestria.

The "saddle" she wears is designed to mount one of several different modular weapon systems, that mount into the side of the saddle and swivel like a gun turret to hit targets from multiple directions. Bane controls and fires the gun using a wireless "bit" controller in her mouth...she moves her tongue to aim/position the gun, and bites down to fire it. The system is very hard to use and takes years of training to aim and fire properly, but it's very small and does not obscure Bane's ability to talk when she has it in her mouth.

I might actually redesign the bit so it actually can be seen outside of her mouth, and appears as a form of headgear, just because I'm obsessed with drawing all my characters wearing headgear of some sort or another. But I dunno, that may ruin the picture.

Finally, Bane is not just a pony. In my main universe the female adept soldier Lauren "Bane" Makowicz is essentially Bane the pony as a human/adept. Expect to see more of Bane in both her pony and adept forms.
