Bane the Tacticool Ponyby *Great-5

Unfinished version

I started this picture a loooooong time ago, like back in December, but here it is complete, after almost two months of being put off! It's my pony OC "Bane," a badass earth pony and the protagonist of Ponywar, a little side-project of a fictional universe I plan on eventually making into a game once Kyrdan is well on its way to completion.

Even though she is just a normal earth pony, Bane grew up in Canterlot, the royal city of the unicorns where Princess Celestia lives, and the last safe haven in Equestria from the terrible destruction caused by the human colonists. She was taken to Canterlot when she was just a filly, at the request of her dying parents, who were among the many pony casualties of the war. She swore to avenge her fallen family and every pony who has been slain by the humans.

Celestia herself saw potential in her, and personally saw to it that her royal unicorn guards would train the young filly in many forms of both armed and unarmed combat, believing that she would one day take Equestria back from the barbaric humans, and that ponykind would once again be free. During the final stages of Bane's training, an unknown third party had supplied the Canterlot guard corps with a large cache of weaponry many times more advanced than what the human colonists were using. This weapons cache was a veritable treasure trove of high-tech directed-energy, kinetic and energy-projectile weaponry, from plasma and pulse cannons to caseless machine guns to electromagnetic Gauss accelerators. Priorities now shifted to learning how to properly use these highly advanced weapons against the humans.

Bane's first mission was a success when she managed to bring Celestia's beloved pupil, the unicorn Twilight Sparkle, safely back to Canterlot, followed by her other five friends. These six ponies, armed with the mighty Elements of Harmony, would surely be invaluable allies to Bane as she fights the human soldiers. In the end, though, these six, not Bane, are the chosen ones destined to save Equestria from evil. Realizing this, Bane set out to protect the mane six wherever they go, acting as their defender, because she cannot use the Elements herself. She will stay with them until the end, like any good soldier.

Could someone please try to explain how Post-Apoc ponies is a fan-fic? please give me some closure on this.

Not just one fanfic, but many. Bane here is the protagonist of my own post-apocalyptic, grimdark fan universe called Ponywar, though sadly I have not added much to it since last September. There are others too though, like Fallout Equestria (the Fallout series crossed over w/ MLP)

They never would. Besides Bane isn't exactly kid-friendly, due to her use of firearms. Ponywar is a grimdark scenario, not for kids at all.

maybe there's a way. Bane could use firearms that doesn't kill. but instead use firearms that knock enemies out Unconscious. alive but unconscious. like batman from the game arkham asylum

Ya know, that's actually a pretty cool idea. Probably won't use it for Ponywar, but...maybe it can be one of her secondary weapons, to be used against targets that need to be kept alive somehow, or when she doesn't feel killing someone is the right thing to do. I dunno.
